Favored Flowers cards Part 2 Once I started using the Favored Flowers DSP I couldn't stop. Here are some more cards I created using it. The Favored Flower DSP started as a 3 1/2 by 4" piece that was then cut in 1" strips and mounted on a 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Basic White.  The DSP is scraps cut 3 1/2 by 1". The green (I think it was Old Olive) was cut 3 3/4 by 5". Here the flowered DSP is 3 1/4 by 4 1/2", the Basic Black around it is 3 3/8 by 4 3/8". The Calypso Coral DSP is 4 by 5 1/4". You really can't make a bad card with this DSP. Pick some up for free with a $50 order while it lasts. Favored Flowers Fancy Fold Let's start by saying the title of this blog post 10 times quickly--I bet you can't do it! I know I can't but I love the alliteration of it. And I love the FREE Sale-a-Bration Favored Flowers Designer Series paper--it is actually my favorite DSP in the Sale-a-Bration catalog. It may be because I love, love, love Blackberry Bliss--I bought 2 packages of the cardstock when it retired as an In-Color and was so excited when it came back as a regular, Regal color. And I also love the new fold I've recently learned on the left that I demonstrated on my Facebook live on 2/13/23 so you can watch it below. And if you come back on Wednesday 2/15, I will post some more cards made from this gorgeous DSP. Here's an up-close picture of the card we are going to learn to make here. In my video, I talk about making the front of the other card too. Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Blackberry Bliss cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" ...

Seaside Bay Pearl Card Please don't go telling the other bundles, but Seaside Bay (and the whole By the Bay Suite) on page 22-23 is my favorite bundle in the Jan-April Mini Catalog. I love, love, love the paper that has either gold foil or shiny areas on one side (like the little piece on the right) and lovely shells or backgrounds on the other side. You can even cut out birds and shells from the paper with the dies. And everything in the suite plays well with the Sea Turtle stamp set on page 29 as well as Friends are Like Seashells set from the Annual Catalog. And the Flat Pearls are shiny and will be easy to mail. Here's another picture of my card with the seashell closed--isn't that the cutest die??? Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Basic White Thick cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line.  2. Pool Party cardstock--3 pieces, 1 piece cut 3 1/8 by 5 3/8" and a second cut 1 by ...
