Retiring In Colors 2021-23    As most of you know, our In Colors change every 2 years and as of May 1st 2023 the 2021-23 In Colors will be retiring, unless some of them have made it into the Color Refresh in the new Annual Catalog that starts May 2nd. These retiring colors have been my favorite group of In Colors since I started as a demonstrator 6 years ago. I just love all of them, so am hoping some of them stick around. If you watch my Facebook Live below, I made both of these cards and gave more tips on using the Stamparatus, so please watch. Let's make these cards! Gather your supplies for card 1 on the left (see below for the other one) 1.Fresh Freesia cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line.  2. Basic White cardstock--2 pieces cut 3 3/4 by 5" for the inside and outside 3. Evening Evergreen cardstock--cut 3 7/8 by 5 1/8" 4. Stamp Sets--Watercolor Shapes (#156968), Dragonfly Garden (#154411),T

Around the Bend Fancy Fold I saw this fancy fold on Debbie Mageed's website (secretstamper.com) and had to try it as I had bought the Around the Bend bundle a few weeks ago and had yet to use it. If you are like me, the dies had intimidated me a bit, so it was nice to see a card with them in action. The Around the Bend dies are even used for the flower and the leaves. Please watch my Facebook Live below for tips on using the dies--they are really great to use once you play with them for a while. I've also been going back to the Annual Catalog lately for inspiration--the Designer Series Paper is from the Tea Boutique set. The colors are so beautiful, as are the designs, even the ones without tea cups in them, like this one.  There's something new that Stampin' Up is trying with this stamp set--you can choose to buy it in photopolymer (see through) or as cling (red rubber) stamps. There are several stamp sets in the catalog like this so choose carefully when you order.

Paradise Palms   Floating Circle  Retirement Card I've had this bundle in my stash for several months now and had not used it until today. I had just sent the last of my retirement cards, so I needed to fill up my stash also. I think I bought this set for 2 reasons--these palm tree dies and the fact that we have so few sets with anything about retirement.  As usual, Stampin' Up has made a wonderful set with lots of potential uses, which I figured out as I worked with it. And this card lets you use up those 1/2" strips of cardstock we all have sitting around! I first made the bright one on the left and then in my Facebook live/YouTube video (both are Stamp with Dr Robin) I made the subtle one on the right.  Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Basic White Thick cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line.  2. Basic White cardstock--cut 4 by 5 1/4". Another scrap punched with the small p

Something Fancy Wedding Card I fell in love with the dies from Something Fancy as soon as I saw them in the Jan-April Mini Catalog and was only going to buy the dies. And then later I went back for a second look at the stamp set and there are some amazing sentiments in this set as you can see above. I also wanted to show how the By the Bay paper also coordinates well with the Friends are like Seashells set and embossing folder. And don't get me started on the Pearlescent Specialty Paper on the left and the Soft Succulent Shimmer paper on the right--they really do shimmer in the light that you may not be able see on the picture. Let's make the card on the left, and then I will let you know about what you need for the card on the right.  Gather your supplies: 1. Sahara Sand cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line. Another piece cut from the larger Something Fancy tag. Die cut 1 large and 1 small shell using

Wild & Sweet  Sorry I'm late getting these directions up on my blog, but we are having some construction done on our house and it is quite chaotic around here. I've had the Wild & Sweet as well as Bamboo Beauty stamp sets for a while and this is the first time I've used them--they pair so well together, both the images and the sentiments seem like they were made for each other. Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Soft Succulent cardstock--Card base 4 1/4 by 11" scored on the long side at  2 3/4" from each end and folded along the score lines.  2. Basic White cardstock --3 3/4 by 5" for the inside and one cut with the second largest Scalloped Contour die 3. Delicate Desert DSP (#160521)--2 pieces from different sheets, each cut 2 1/2 by 4" 4. Dies--Scalloped Contours 5. Stamp Set--Wild & Sweet (#158775) and Bamboo Beauty (#155478) 6. Ribbon--Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (#155780) 7. 2021-23 In Color Opal Rounds (#159185) 8.
