Floating Christmas Tree So if you make a lot of holiday cards like I do, it is time to start working on them! I know, I know, we haven't had Halloween yet, but if you want to send them out before the holiday it is time to get working. And this lovely card was inspired by someone else (sorry I just took a picture of it but there was no name on it so I can't thank you) who used her scraps to make the tree. I took it one step further and made a floating scraps tree. I've been wanting to make a card with this technique for a while and I knew this tree would look fabulous like this. And the second bonus is that I got to use up a ton of Lights Aglow scraps, even the small ones. All you need to do is cut your scraps into 1/2" pieces, attach them to a piece of window sheet and then cut out whatever shape you like. Sentimental Christmas Fun Fold Card I think the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper is just so soft, beautiful and a little bit retro. I also love that for every pack of this paper you buy, Stampin' Up will donate $3 to children's literacy in the US, which makes it twice as nice. So please buy this DSP! It makes such lovely cards--I used 3 different DSPs on this one card. And I am not sure you can tell by looking at the picture above, but it is a fun fold too! If you get stuck, or are just a more visual learner, please watch my Facebook Live below where I made this card. Then come back every Monday at 1 pm PST to make another card with me. Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Lost Lagoon cardstock --Card base 5 1/2" by 7 1/4" scored on the long side at 4 1/4". 2. Basic White cardstock--a piece 4" by 5 1/4" for the inside of your card and 3/4" scrap about 4" long 3. Poppy Parade cardstock--a piece cut with the 7th largest...
Playing with Thoughtful Journey DSP Hopefully you have received your new 2024-25 Annual Catalog by now--if not please email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com and let me send you one if you don't have a demonstrator. I am making a card today using the gorgeous 6" by 6" Thoughtful Journey DSP as each page is more beautiful than the last. These pages are stand alone amazing--all they really need is a sentiment added to make a card, but I thought I'd fancy them up today with some other new products. I am loving the In Color Glimmer Paper as well as the Unbounded Love bundle that I used for the sentiment. If you have trouble following along with these directions, please watch my Facebook live below. Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: 1.
