Corner Fold Card with Sweet as a Peach

I just learned how to make this corner fold card and can't stop making them! Especially with the Sweet as a Peach DSP which is now on sale for 15% off at Stampin' Up. What an amazing deal and this corner fold shows off the DSP beautifully. Here's a closer look at the two cards separately.

First gather your supplies:
1.  Calypso Coral or Balmy Blue card bases cut 8 1/2 by 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded.
2.  Whisper/Basic White cut 4 by 5 1/4" for the inside, a scrap for the sentiment cut with the 3 by 1" Stitched Rectangle Die and a scrap for the flowers
3. Pear Pizzazz Cardstock cut 2 3/4 by 2 3/4", scrap for flower centers
4. Sweet as a Peach Bundle (#155823)
5. Stitched Rectangle Dies (#151820)
6. Sweet Strawberry stamp set (#154394)
7. Sweet as a Peach DSP cut 4 by 5 1/4" and 2 1/2 by 2 1/2"--just choose 2 coordinating ones
8. Genial Gems or Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
9. Ink--Pear Pizzazz for sentiments, either Balmy Blue or Calypso Coral for flowers.
10. Basic supplies--bone folder, adhesive (Multipurpose Glue and Stampin' Seal Plus), Dimensionals, Piercing Mat, 3 by 3" Post It Note

Start by folding your card base in half on the score line and attach the 4 by 5 1/4" piece of DSP to the front. Use your Stampin' Seal unless you want to wait a while for your glue to dry. Attach the Post It Note in the upper right corner. Open up the card and using your Paper Trimmer and cut from the bottom left corner (at the 3 by 3" mark) to 5/8" from the edge. DO NOT CUT THE WHOLE CORNER PART OUT!! Just cut to 5/8" from the edge. Watch my Facebook Live below if this doesn't make sense.

Now fold free/cut corner away in towards the card/away from you. Make sure it looks straight before burnishing the edges with the bone folder. It should look like this. Glue the left and bottom of the square to the front of the card. Also on the inside front flap of the card, glue the DSP to the solid color square.

Using Pear Pizzazz ink, stamp your sentiment on the Stitched Rectangle Die and the inside white piece-see below how the inside looks. Using either Calypso Corral or Balmy Blue, stamp the 3 flowers and cut them out with the dies. Cut some of the tiny and slightly bigger flowers out of Pear Pizzazz and glue them to the flower centers. Attach one flower to the sentiment strip and 2 to the inside.  If your flowers stamp like this, your ink pad is too juicy--move some of the ink down and to the side with the back of a plastic spoon or an old credit card and try again.

Use 3 of the blue Holiday Rhinestones or the gold Genial Gems to dress up the front of the card.

Here's what the inside looks like.

Now go create some cards with whatever pretty DSP you have at home! If you need more help with how to make this card, watch my Facebook live below.
