Eden's Garden Fun Fold

Today I want to share with you a brand new suite that comes out November 2, 2021 called Eden's Garden. The stamp set and dies will be available in the upcoming Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog but the gorgeous papers and gems are only available now while supplies last. As of today, I only own the paper so I thought I'd share it with you as well as a fun fold that shows off 3 of the new papers in this set. This is a great fun fold for showing off any of our sets of matching paper. The papers in this DSP all have one side with shiny gold accents and a green, more neutral pattern on the other side--they would be great for holiday cards also. Here's a peak at the other parts of the suite.

Let's get going on making our card. First gather your supplies:
1. Soft Succulent cardstock cut 5 1/2" by 11" scored at 1 3/4, 5 1/2 and 9 3/4"
2. Basic White cardstock cut 4 by 5 1/4" for the inside and a scrap for the sentiment piece.
3. Soft Succulent cut 1" by 10" (use the leftovers from cutting your card base)and a scrap for the die cut.
4. Ever Eden Specialty DSP cut 3 1/2 by 5 1/4", 1 1/2 by 5 1/4" and 1 by 5 1/4"
5. Stamp set--Bamboo Beauty (#155478)
6. Dies-- Stitched So Sweetly (#151690)
7. Gilded Gems (#152478)
8. Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (#155573) or one of our gold ribbons
9. Ink--Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen
10. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (Multipurpose Glue and Stampin' Seal Plus), Regular Dimensionals, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine

Start by folding the card base. It's easiest to fold along the 5 1/2" score line first (folding it in half) then fold the front (1 3/4" score) back towards the front of the card then fold the back (9 3/4" score) towards the front overlapping the front fold. Now attach the pieces of Ever Eden DSP to their respective places making sure the top and bottom edges of the DSP line up.

Die cut the second largest of the non-rectangular dies from Stitched so Sweetly dies in Basic White. Stamp your sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink and then use the smallest of the little bamboo pieces to stamp twice on the front--I stamped off first so the images would look lighter and be more of a background. Cut the largest of the non-rectangular dies out of Soft Succulent and glue the sentiment piece to that. Add a couple of Gilded Gems (I used the medium sized ones) to the top and bottom as below.

Using the same little bamboo stamp, stamp on your inside white piece 3 times, NOT inking up in between as below. Attach that to the inside of your card.

Now let's make the belly band--I tend to just fold it around the card, though some people like to score theirs. Don't make it too tight so it can slide off and on easily. Use Stampin' Seal Plus or Tear 'N Tape to attach the 2 ends--you just want something strong. Hide your seam in the front so that the sentiment piece will cover it. Then wrap some of the Evening Evergreen ribbon around your belly band, securing with the Seal Plus or Tear 'N Tape in the front also. Now attach your sentiment to the belly band with Dimensionals. Such a beautiful card and so easy! If you want more help making this card, watch my Facebook Live below. Happy Stampin'!
