What's Cookin'?

Hi Stampin' friends! I thought I'd share a card using the What's Cookin'? bundle as it is on sale for the remainder of the month of March for 20% off! That's an extra 10% off the usual price of buying the bundle. I have had this bundle for a few months now, but got distracted with other sets and hadn't played with it until today. It seemed kind of retro to me, so I wanted to use some retro colors. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! Let me know if you would like me to order it for you or click on the red Robin in the upper left and order it sent to you.

First, gather your supplies to make this card.

1. Real Red cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4", another scrap for the scalloped oval
2. Basic White cardstock 3 3/4 by 5" for the inside, another piece about 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 for stamping and cutting the pieces and another scrap for the oval
3. Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (#155426) cut 4 by 5 1/4"
4. Crumb Cake scrap for the cutting board
5. Pool Party cardstock 2 by 4 1/4"
6. Stamp Set-- What's Cookin'?  (#154491 for stamp set or #155845 for bundle)
7. Dies-- Cookin' Dies ((#154333 or #155845 for bundle)
8. Double Oval punch (#154242)
9. Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon (#156323)
10 Classic Matte Dots (#158146)
11. Ink-- Memento black, Real Red, Pool Party, Crumb Cake
12. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Tear 'N Tape, Regular and Mini Dimensionals, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine (using the Mini one today that is on sale for 20% off through the end of March)

Start by doin the stamping on Basic White. In Memento ink, stamp the sentiment on the oval and the inside sentiment (see below for the inside). Using Real Red, stamp the salt and pepper shakers and the spatula. Using Pool Party stamp the bowl. Use Crumb Cake for the rolling pin. Cut them all out with the dies using the Mini Die Cutting machine. Cut a cutting board out of Crumb Cake cardstock.

Fold your Real Red card base in half and attach the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper to the front. Use Tear 'N Tape to attach a 4 1/4 piece of  Real Red ribbon the the top and bottom of the Pool Party cardstock, letting only a small piece of the ribbon show. Attach that to the front of the card base using Dimensionals. Attach the pieces as you see below. I used a Mini Dimensional under the top of the spatula and cutting board but glue for the rest. Attach the oval sentiment to the Real Red scalloped oval and attach that to the front of the card using Dimensionals.

Add 3 black Classic Matte Dots--here's a closer view.

For the inside, stamp the sentiment and attach the rolling pin and attach that to the inside like this.

Here's my Facebook link with more information. See you next week at Stamp with Dr Robin on Monday at 1 pm PST.
