Brightest Glow
I know it's August, but I've been having such fun playing with the Lights Aglow suite that I couldn't stop. This is a card we made at our Christmas in July retreat last week and I though you all would like to see it to. If you want more info on how to make it, please watch my Facebook live from 8/1/22 which I will link below.
First, gather your supplies.
1. Cherry Cobbler Cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4"
Another piece 4 by 5 1/4", a third piece 3 by 3"
2. Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper--cut the circle frame 3 by 3"
3. Basic White Carstock for the inside 3 3/4 by 5" and a piece cut with the 3rd to largest Stylish Shapes dies
4. Gold Glimmer Paper--2 strips 3/8 by 5 1/4"
5. Stamp Set-- Brightest Glow (#159542 or the bundle #159552), Christmas Lights (#159538)
6. Dies-- Stylish Shapes (from the Annual Catalog #159183)
7. Embossing Folder-- Wintery 3D (From the Annual Catalog #155433)
8. Red & Green Adhesive Backed Pearls (#159963)
9. Ink--Cherry Cobbler
10. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Regular Dimensionals, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Blending Brushes
Start by folding your card base in half along the score lines. Embose the 4 by 5 1/4" piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Wintery 3D embossing folder. Be sure the center it in the folder so there is an even small strip that isn't embossed along both of the long sides. Attach your strips of Gold Glimmer paper to those edges. Attach this to your card front with glue or Dimensionals.
Stamp a sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on the Basic White circle then glue that in the center of the DSP square. Take your 3 by 3" plain Cherry Cobbler square and attach that to the back of the first square making a diamond pattern like below. Now attach that to the card using Dimensionals. Scatter 3 Gold Festive Pearls wherever you like.
For the inside, stamp a sentiment and a few of the small snowflakes from the Christmas Lights stamp set on the 3 3/4 by 5" piece of Basic White. Don't forget to stamp some snowflakes on your envelope too.

Facebook changed things recently so my other links don't seem to be working. Sorry about that.
