Kindest Gnomes meet Hello Harvest

Anyone out there crazy about gnomes? I think they are so adorable and especially the Kindest Gnome ones as they are 4 different gnomes in different positions and even a female gnome! And an adorable gnome mushroom house. This gnomes is sitting and looks to me like he's either thinking hard or has a headache! The gnomes pair very well with the Rings of Love paper that is FREE until the end of August (while supplies last) with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration. AND the Gnomes dies cut out the gnomes and mushrooms in the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper. So much fun to play with, so I decided to make my class this week around the gnomes and the Rings of Love paper. If you'd like to do this class at home and receive everything you need to make 4 gnome cards (including this one) email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com.

Let's make this card. First, gather your supplies.

1. Crushed Curry Cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4" and folded in half along the score line
2. Rings of Love Designer Series Paper--cut 4 by 4"
3. Gingham Cottage DSP--the So Saffron one cut 2 by 4"
4. Basic White Cardstock for the inside 3 3/4 by 5" and a scrap for stamping the gnome
5. So Saffron cardstock cut with the largest Stylish Shapes Dies
6. Soft Suede cardstock scrap to cut 2 vines
7. Poppy Parade scrap for your pumpkin
8. Stamp Set-- Kindest Gnomes (#159616 or bundle #159626) and Hello Harvest (#159634 or bundle #159644), Art Gallery (#154421)
9. Dies-- Gnome Dies (#159625 or bundle #159626), Rustic Pumpkin Dies (#159644 or bundle #159644), Stylish Shapes (#159183)
10. Embossing Folder-- Gingham (From the Annual Catalog #157627)
11. Gold Shimmer Ribbon (#152156 from the Annual Catalog)
12. Ink--Memento Tuxedo Black
13. Blends--Dark Soft Suede, Dark and Light Poppy Parade, Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Night of Navy, Dark Petal Pink, Light Smoky Slate, Color Lifter
14. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Regular Dimensionals, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Tear 'N Tape

Start by attaching the So Saffron piece of Gingham Cottage DSP to the bottom of the Rings of Love DSP--they do overlap a bit, so use you folded card base to guide you. Attach about a 5" piece of the Gold Shimmer ribbon to cover the line between the DSPs--I used some Tear 'N Tape on the back to do this. Then glue the whole thing to the front of the card.

Cut the largest square of the Stylish Shapes Dies out of So Saffron cardstock, then run it through your Die Cutting and Embossing Machine inside the Gingham embossing folder (which you can also get free with a $50 order)

Now let's do some stamping. Using your Memento Black, stamp the large pumpkin from the Hello Harvest stamp set on to a piece of Poppy Parade and cut it out with the matching die. Stamp the gnome that is sitting using the same ink on to Basic White cardstock and cut him out using the matching die. Color him as you see below--light and dark Poppy Parade for the hat, dark Daffodil delight for his gloves, light Night of Navy for his clothing, dark Soft Suede for his shoes and a dark Petal Pink nose. I used light Smoky Slate on the lines on his beard.

Time to put the card together. Glue the So Saffron square like I did below, or ofset it in a diamond pattern as I did on my Facebook Live below. By the way, if you are a more visual learner, you can watch my Facebook Live and get more info that way. Attach the pumpkin to the So Saffron piece, and then a couple vines cut with the Rustic Pumkin dies out of Soft Suede cardstock. Attach the gnome with Dimensionals. For the inside, I just used one of the swirly stamps in Hello Harvest to stamp the corners of the inside Basic White piece and attach that to the inside, or you can use your gnome or the pumpkin.

For the sentiment, I used the Art Gallery stamp set on a die from Stylish Shapes. I attached it using Dimensionals and you are done!
