Peace to You

I have a ton of new information to share with you today and then we will make the card above. I'm loving how easy it is to make a beautiful card with this stamp set in any color, but I sure love using Starry Sky with this specific stamp.  This is such a peaceful winter scene.

Now on to the exciting news. Stampin' Up is having a huge Seasonal Sale this week 11/15 (starting at midnight)-18/22 only.
  • All punches in the Annual Catalog will be 10% off,
  • Stamps will be 15% off

Remember this is only products from the Annual Catalog. If you'd like me to order for you, please email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com or please use my Host Code FSQADDUK if you decide to order.

Now on to making this card. Gather your supplies:
1. Starry Sky cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4" and folded in half along the score line. Another piece 3 1/4 by 4 1/2"
2. Basic White cardstock--a piece 3 by 4 1/4", another 3 3/4 by 5" for the inside and a 1/2" scrap for the sentiment
3. White Glimmer Paper (comes with Real Red also #159578)--a piece 3 by 1 7/8". You could also use Snowy White DSP to do this like I did in my Facebook Live below.
4. Stamp Set--Peace to You (#159776) and Peaceful Deer (#156891)
5. Ink--Starry Sky and Versamark
6. Glittered Organdy Ribbon (#156408)
7. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Piercing Mat, Stamparatus

Let's start by stamping. Using the Versamark ink and the group of little snowflakes from the Peaceful Deer set, stamp around the outside of the front of your card. As only about 1/2" of the card front will show you don't have to do the whole thing. Just remember to move the stamp around as you go. Set this aside to dry as Versamark takes a bit to dry. You could also do this in Starry Sky ink if you want it to be darker.

Now use your Starry Sky ink to stamp the inside with a sentiment as well as some Starry Sky snowflakes. Stamp the outside sentiment on a 1/2" scrap of Basic White and flag the right side. I highly suggest you use your Stamparatus to stamp the main stamp on the 3 by 4 1/4" piece of Basic White, as it usually looks best after stamping twice. The easiest way to cut out the glimmer or velvet snow is to stamp another one of the 3 by 4 1/4" pieces of Basic White with the church stamp, then cut off the bottom part and use it as a template to trace, then cut the Glimmer or Velvet paper like this:

Attach the piece of Glimmer/Velvet to the bottom of this stamped image. Cut off any that overhangs the bottom. Attach it then to the 3 1/4 by 4 1/2" piece of Starry Sky cardstock then attach to the card base using Dimensionals. Attach your sentiment with Dimensionals also. Tie a knot in a small piece of Glittered Organdy Ribbon and attach in the top corner with a glue dot.
