Easter Bunny Envelope Fun Fold

If you've been ignoring this adorable bunny set in the Jan-April Mini Catalog because you feel like Easter and Spring are still far away, I'm here to remind you to take a look at it now. As Stampin' Up has already run out of the heart punch (it will be returning about 4/17) and the clover punch,
which won't be returning at all. I'm very worried the Easter Bunny punch will be the next to run out, and it may happen well before Easter/Spring so snatch it up now! And the other reason I decided to make this card now is that I saw Karen Titus from Stampin' on the Back Porch make this envelope card and just had to try it myself. It is fun and easy. Please let me know if you need any of these products by emailing me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com or click the Robin up at the left to order on my on-line store.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:
1. Mango Melody cardstock--Card base 5 1/2 by 4 1/4"
2. Petal Pink cardstock--5 1/4 by 8" scored at 4"
3. Basic White cardstock 3 3/4 by 5" for the inside and another piece die cut with the second largest Stylish Shape die
4. Dandy Designs DSP  (#160836)--2 pieces, one cut 3 3/4 by 3 3/4" and the other a scrap for the bunny
5. Punch--Easter Bunny (#160331 or #160606 for the bundle)
6. Stamp Set--Easter Bunny (#160272 or #160606 for the bundle) and Sentimental Park (#160561) for the flower on the front
7. Dies-- Stylish Shapes (#159183)
8. Iridescent Pastel Gems (#160429)
9. Ink--Basic Gray, Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya
10. Blends-- Dark Pale Papaya, Dark or Light Calypso Coral, Dark Granny Apple Green, Dark Petal Pink
12. Basic supplies--bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue),  Regular Dimensionals, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Paper Trimmer, Piercing Mat

Start by folding your Petal Pink cardstock along the score line. Now score the 3 3/4" Dandy Designs square along the diagonal from one corner to the one across from it like this:

Now fold it in half along the score line (should look like a triangle). Take your folded piece of Petal Pink with the open longer side to the top and attach just the bottom half of the DSP to just the BACK of the folded Petal Pink as below. The left picture shows what it looks like from the front and the picture on the right shows what it looks like from the back.

Using Pale Papaya (or Petal Pink) ink, randomly stamp the flower from Sentimental Park all over the front of your card. Next, attach this to the Mango Melody piece of cardstock. You should be putting glue on the back of the Petal Pink (the picture on the right) and the card should open DOWN which is the opposite of usual. If this is too confusing, please watch my Facebook Live below.

Now for the bunny part. Punch a bunny out of the other piece of Dandy Designs DSP. Stamp some grass using Granny Apple Green along the bottom of the second largest Stylish Shape Basic White piece. Attach the bunny using Dimensionals. Attach the circle to the front of the card with Dimensionals only on the bottom part of the circle as the flap will then tuck into it.

For the inside of the card, stamp the greeting in Granny Apple Green and the eggs along the bottom in Basic Grey. I colored the eggs using the Blends I listed above. Attach this to the inside of the card (you could attach it to either inside piece.

Close the card up and add 2 large Iridescent Pastel Gems to the outside and a small one to the bunny's nose and you are done!
