Sneak Peek of Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks

The new Sept-Dec Mini Catalog is here and packed with some amazing fall and holiday products. Please let me know if you need a catalog if you don't already have a demonstrator you are working with. You can email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com. I really had fun playing with these new Decorative Masks and think you will too.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies
1. Cajun Craze cardstock --Card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line. Second piece 4 1/4" by 5 1/2"
2. Basic White cardstock--2 pieces 3 3/4" by 5"
3. Crushed Curry cardstock--small scrap for sentiment
4. Stamp Sets--Autumn Leaves (from the new Sept-Dec Mini Catalog)
5. Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks (from the new Sept-Dec Mini Catalog)
6. Ink--Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Copper Clay, Early Espresso, Garden Green, Soft Seafoam
7. Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder
8. Ribbon--Copper & Natural Combo Pack (from the new Sept-Dec Mini Catalog)
9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Paper Trimmer, Glue Dots, Take Your Pick Tool, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Dimensionals, Small and Regular Blending Brushes

Take one of the pieces of Basic White cardstock. Notice the new masks all have a little notch on the top, so you know which direction they go, as well as they have a number on each to tell you order to use them in. Start with the flower one--you can hold or tape them down. Use your Blending Brush (I used the large one here) and the Crushed Curry ink to color first, then use Cajun Craze only close to the center.  You can watch my Facebook Live (or YouTube) to get more pointers.

Then you can either do some leaves in Garden Green (I moved the leaf mask around where I wanted them). Put some leaves on the other Basic White piece for the inside. For the centers there is a mask of 3 circles and I used Copper Clay for that, and a small Blending Brush.  I used a light touch and Early Espresso for the last mask for the centers. Now use the Soft Seafoam and VERY LIGHTLY color in the background with your Blending Brush. See how realistic this looks!

Stamp the sentiment (Autumn Leaves) with Cajun Craze on the scrap of Crushed Curry and fussy cut around it as below. Cut the 1"  Natural Ribbon longitudinally and you will notice you can pull out some strands to get the fringed effect. Tie the ribbon around the stamped piece and knot it.

Let's put this card together. Run the  4 1/4" by 5 1/2" piece of Cajun Craze through your Die Cutting and Embossing Machine with Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this piece to your folded card base then attach the flower piece. Attach the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Here's another view of the finished card.
