Fruitful Blessings Gate-fold Card

I am still in the autumn card-making mood and the Fruitful Blessings stamp set fit the bill today! Also, the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper is back in stock, so if you love this paper as much as I do, order it ASAP before they run out again. By the way, many other papers that have been out of stock for a while are back, so go check them out! As you can see above, I kind of went crazy making gate-fold cards. I'm going to show you in this blog and my video below how to make the off-center gate-fold card as seen on the top. The bottom Copper Clay one is a more traditional centered gate fold.

Here's a closer view of the card we will be making today:

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Pumpkin Pie cardstock --Card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at   2 3/4" and 7" and folded inward along the score lines. Another piece 1" by 9 3/4" for the belly band
2. Crumb Cake cardstock--a scrap about 3" square for the acorns
3. Very Vanilla cardstock--one piece 4 by 5 1/4" for the inside, a circle cut with the second largest Stylish Shapes circle
4.  All About Autumn DSP cut 3 3/4" by 5 1/4" then cut along the short side at 1 1/4"
5. Stamp Sets--Fruitful Blessings
6. Dies--Fruitful Blessings, Stylish Shapes
7. Ink--Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie
8. Bronze Stampin' Blend
9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Paper Trimmer, Blender Pen, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Regular Dimensionals

Start by folding your card base inward along the fold, making sure the edges meet well. Attach the 2 pieces of All About Autumn DSP --be careful that the edges that meet line up well and have even borders.
Now let's stamp. Stamp the acorn and leaves in Early Espresso on the scrap of Crumb Cake. Immediately use your Blender Pen to move around the ink to color in the leaves and the body of the acorn. Use the Bronze Blend to color in the top of the acorn. Cut this out with the Fruitful Blessings die. Now make belly band by wrapping the 1" piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock around the card with the pieces over-lapping in the front of the card--glue them together.

Stamp the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie on the Very Vanilla circle cut with the second largest Stylish Shapes circle. Attach the acorns using Dimensionals to the circle. Attach the circle to the belly band with Dimensionals. Please watch my video below for some tips on making this card and come watch me every Monday at 1 pm PST on Facebook at Stamp with Dr Robin or later on my YouTube channel with the same name.

For the inside--stamp the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie and one of the acorns in Early Espresso and attach to the inside of the card. You can add some embellishments to the front if you wish.
