Garden Meadow Sneak Peek
Let me introduce you to the upcoming Garden Meadow bundle and Meandering Meadows Designer Series Paper. The stamp set includes all sorts of garden imagery and cute sentiments. And the dies cut those all out plus includes some separate greenery elements and this great window die you see on the above left card. And don't get me started on the DSP--it is 6" by 6" of absolute gorgeous garden scenes. They are so beautiful it is hard to cut in to them, which is why some of the cards I made use almost the whole paper! If you want to see the set and the paper in its entirety, please watch my Facebook Live below or watch me on YouTube (both are Stamp with Dr Robin). I will have more cards to show you with this DSP in upcoming blog posts.
This bundle and DSP are available now for demonstrators and starting 11/7 for customers. But if you join now you can get all of these new products in your starter kit. To celebrate their 35th year as a business, Stampin' Up! is offering an amazing Sign up Bonus for 10/3-10/31.

I love being a demonstrator and think you will love being a part of my Robin's Rowdies group.
Let's make these cards! The card on the left above I will refer to as card #1 and the one on the right is card #2. Gather your supplies:
1. Melon Mambo cardstock for card #2 --Card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4" and folded accordion style along the score lines.
2. Crumb Cake cardstock--card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4". A second piece 4" by 5 1/4".
3. Basic White cardstock--one piece 4" by 5 1/4" for the inside, for card #1 a scrap for the sentiment cut with the skinny Stylish Shapes flagged shape. For card #2 a piece 2" by 5 1/4" for the inside
4. Meandering Meadows DSP--for card #1 cut 5" by 3" and for card #2 the front piece is 4" by 5 1/4" and inside is 2" by 5 1/4"
5. Stamp Sets--Garden Meadow
6. Dies--Garden Meadow, Stylish Shapes
7. Ink--Garden Green for both and Crumb Cake for card #1
8. Embossing Folder--Timber 3D for card #1
9. Dark Fresh Freesia Blend
10. Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds
11. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Paper Trimmer, Blender Pen, Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Regular Dimensionals
We can make card #1 first. I started by cutting the window out of the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake with the Garden Meadow die. Then run it through the Timber 3D embossing folder that has been inked up (on the side that has the Stampin'Up! logo on it). Cut a piece of the
Meandering Meadows DSP 3" by about 5", making sure you like how the part that you will see through the window looks. I used double sided tape to attach that to the back of the embossed Crumb Cake piece and then attach that to the card front.
In Garden Green stamp the sentiment on the Stylish Shapes die cut and add that to the front of the card using Dimensionals. For the inside, see below for how to stamp that. Add a bird from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds to the front.
For card #2 start by accordion folding along the 2 1/8" and the 4 1/4" score lines for the card base. Attach the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of DSP only to the (folded back) 2 1/8" piece, so half the DSP will be unattached. Then open up the card and attach the 2" piece to the inside as below. For the Basic White inside 2" piece stamp the bunch of flowers in Garden Green and then color the flowers in the Fresh Freesia Blend. Attach this to the inside of the card as below, making sure that you can't see this piece with the card closed. To see how I did this and other tips, watch my Facebook Live below.
To finish the card, I used a 3/4" scrap piece to stamp the sentiment and attach it with Dimensionals. Add two birds from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds to the front and another one to the inside DSP.
Here's the same lay-out with a different piece of DSP.
