Painted Lavender Sneak Peek

So are you ready for a sneak peek from the 2024 Jan-April Mini Catalog? Well here is a suite of products that are so absolutely gorgeous I am sure they will be the first thing to sell out when the catalog goes live to customers on January 4th. To me, the star of the suite is the Perennial Lavender Designer series paper, 2 pieces of which you can see above. The mega suite also includes 2 different bundles--the first set (Painted Lavender) stamps lavender plants and cuts them out, as well as the sprigs you see above. The other bundle (Perennial Postage) is an all sentiment bundle and has various sizes of postage stamp-like rectangles you can use on everything. The suite also includes ready to use paper butterflies and gorgeous purple adhesive-backed embellishments. If you want a better peek at it all, watch my Facebook Live below or on my YouTube channel, Stamp with Dr. Robin.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Crumb Cake cardstock --Card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at  4 1/4" and folded along the score line. Second piece 4" by 5 1/4".
2. Basic White cardstock-- 2 pieces, one 3 3/4" by 5" for the inside and a scrap to die cut the sentiment piece using the Stylish Shapes die.
3. Scraps of Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock for the sprigs
4. Perennial Lavender DSP--3 3/4" by 5"
5. Stamp Sets--Painted Lavender, Perennial Postage
6. Dies--Painted Lavender, Stylish Shapes, Garden Meadow
7. Ink-- Pretty Peacock and Highland Heather
8. Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (or you could use Brushed Brass Butterflies)
9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue), Paper Trimmer, Take Your Pick Tool, Regular Dimensionals, Cut & Emboss Machine, Piercing Mat

Start by cutting the window from the Garden Meadow dies on the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Crumb Cake. Fold the card base along the score line and attach the piece of Perennial Lavender DSP to the center of the front--hold the window over it to make sure it will be covered by this. Attach the window piece using Dimensionals or Foam Adhesive Strips.

Take your scraps of Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock and cut the 3 sprigs below using the Painted Lavender dies. Attach them with glue, slipping them under the window piece. Cut the fatter Stylish Shapes die from a scrap of Basic White and stamp the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink. Attach using glue or adhesive to the bottom and left side and a single Dimensional to the top right.

Attach 2 Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies or a large and small Brushed Brass Butterflies to the upper right of the card as below.

For the inside, stamp a row of the grass using Pretty Peacock ink, and the stamp of 3 small flowers and the butterflies in Highland Heather. Attach to the inside of the card.
