Linked Together Bundle
This is my last sneak peek of the 2025 Jan-April Mini Catalog, and that is because tomorrow on 1/7/25 it will be going live to everyone! Today I played with the new Linked Together bundle which not only includes a stamp set, a die set, but also a set of 5 masks. I used the masks to make the background above as well as some other cards, that I will share over the next week or so. I really had fun figuring out different ways to use the masks. You will definitely want to watch my Facebook Live (or over on YouTube) to see how to use the masks, as I will have trouble explaining how on this post.
Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:
1. Boho Blue cardstock --Card base 5 1/2"" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4" and folded along the score line
2. Basic White cardstock-- front piece 4 1/4" by 5 1/2", inside piece 3 3/4" by 5", a 1/2" scrap for the sentiment
3. Storybook Moments DSP--one of the small pieces you can cut out and a few of the punched out ones too.
4. Bundle--Linked Together, including the masks
5. Ink--Boho Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Misty Moonlight
6. Opal Rounds Assortment
7. Blending Brushes
8. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Piercing Mat or Glass Mat, Regular Dimensionals
Start by using the 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" piece of Basic White and your masks. Be sure to tape down the paper as well as the masks so that they don't move. Start with Boho Blue and the #1 mask and use your Blending Brush to lay down the ink. Then move to mask #2 and Blueberry Bushel ink then Mask #3 and Misty Moonlight ink. Use the notch in the top of the masks to get them lined up perfectly. Again, please watch my video to see how I did this. Now trim the paper down to 4" by 5 1/4" and then attach it to the front of the folded card base.
Now stamp the "Wishing You" in Boho Blue on the 1/2" scrap of Basic White and slant cut the ends.
Stamp "a happy day" on your inside piece of Basic White using Boho Blue ink, and attach that to the inside of your card. You could also use a light layer of Boho Blue and one of the masks over the inside saying. Can you see the difference on the second photo?
Now put the card together. Attach one of the 2 little cut outs/tag size pieces from Storybook Moments DSP to the front of the card. Take a couple of the punched out pieces from the Storybook Moments piece of DSP that have some Boho Blue in them and attach using Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment with Dimensionals too. Add a couple of the small Night of Navy Opal Rounds Assortment to the card and you are done. Here's another picture of the card I made on my Facebook Live, as well as another similar one. Check out more cards made with this bundle over the next few days.
