Lovely Florals in Bloom

I have really enjoyed playing with the Florals in Bloom Mega-Suite and can't wait for you all to be able to order it 5/6/25 when the new Annual Catalog goes live. The paper is gorgeous, the In-Color Flat Pearls are fabulous as they are low profile, and the 2 bundles are such fun to mix and match as I have done with this card. And I have added an embossing folder from the Celebratory Sips suite, which is an Online Exclusive that also goes live 5/6! Both suites are amazing.

If you are a visual person, you might want to watch my Facebook Live video below where I show you how to make this card, as well as tips to make it easier.

I am also running a class right now using this suite of products. I would love to send you all the cardstock and DSP you need to make 4 gorgeous cards using this suite if you let me know (and pay) by 5/5/25 that you want to participate. Email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com for details.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Secret Sea cardstock --Card base 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half on the score line.
2. Florals In Bloom  DSP--4" by 5 1/4".
3.Basic White cardstock--3 3/4" by 5" for the inside, another piece 4" by 5 1/4"
4. Basic Beige cardstock--1/2" scrap, about 2" long
5. Peach Pie cardstock--2 1/4" by 5 1/4"
6. Stamp sets--Pretty Florals and Sweet Blooms
7. Dies-- Sweet Blooms
8. 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls
9. Ink--Secret Sea and Summer Splash
10 Embossing Folder--Glass & Gardens
11. Summer Splash and Peach Pie Bordered Ribbon
12. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Let's start with stamping. But before we stamp, I need to show you how to put your "lovely" stamp on your block so that you will be able to cut it out with the dies. Start by die cutting the larger "lovely" from a piece of scrap paper. Then fit the stamp into the hole (upside down). Pick the stamp up on an E block from here. You will thank me later when your die cut comes out perfect!

Stamp "lovely" on the larger piece of Basic White in Secret Sea. Die cut it with the larger word die.

On this same piece of Basic White, stamp the 3 stems from the Pretty Florals stamp set in Secret Sea. Use Summer Splash ink for the flowers-- stamp the solid flowers by stamping off first on a scrap piece, and then the detailed stamp full strength. Fussy cut them out for the front. Now stamp the flowers again on the smaller piece of Basic White for the inside of your card as below.
Fold your card base in half along the fold line and attach the inside piece.

Using Summer Splash ink, stamp the "have a" and "day" on the 1/2" piece of Basic Beige. I put them on the same block to do this. Slant cut them apart.

Run the piece of Peach Pie through your Cut and Emboss machine inside the glass embossing folder from the 2 piece Glass & Gardens set (it's an Online Exclusive)

Let's put the card together. Attach the piece of Florals In Bloom  DSP to the front and then the embossed Peach Pie piece, centering it up and down. Attach the word "lovely" towards the right side. Attach the flowers to the left side and the other words above and below the word lovely, using Dimensionals on the flowers and the words.

Tie a knot using a small piece of both the Summer Splash and Peach Pie Bordered Ribbons. Slant cut the edges, leaving the ribbon in the back a bit longer. Attach to the flowers using a Mini Glue Dot. Scatter one of each of the 3 sizes of the Cloud Cover 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls on your card and you are done. Here's another picture of the card.
