Sneak Peek at Celebratory Sips

Today I am sharing with you a sneak peek of a suite that will debut on May 6, 2025 as an Online Exclusive. Please, please on 5/6 go on to stampinup.com and check out not only the new Annual Catalog but there are tons of great Online Exclusives debuting the same day and this is one of my favorites. The Celebratory Sips suite includes some great colorful Designer Series Paper, the Cheers & Sips bundle, and Holographic Resin Dots that we are using today. It also includes a duo of embossing folders and some beautiful gold ribbon that we haven't used today.

I love the cheerful colors of this set as well as the fact that you can use it to celebrate so many different occasions, from birthdays, to retirement to anniversaries. I hope you enjoy this suite as much as I do. You can watch me make this card and learn about the suite on my Facebook Live below. Then come back every Monday at 1 pm PST and make a new card with me.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Pretty in Pink cardstock --Card base 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half on the score line.
2. Celebratory Sips DSP--4" by 5 1/4", one of the larger and smaller rectangles for the drinks
3.Basic White cardstock--cut the 3rd and 4th largest Textured Notes Dies, a scrap to stamp the umbrella and pick
4. Stamp sets--Cheers & Sips
5. Dies-- Cheers & Sips, Textured Notes
6. Ink--Basic Gray, Blackberry Bliss, Pretty in Pink, Strawberry Slush
7. Holographic Resin Dots
8. Blends--Light Blackberry Bliss
9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals, Blender Pen, Wink of Stella

Let's  start by doing all the stamping. Using Basic Gray, stamp the large glass on the larger DSP rectangle and the smaller glass stamp on the smaller rectangle--use whichever rectangles you like but I'd recommend 2 different colors. Die cut them out--notice I also used the little die that fits inside the big glass. This die embosses a pattern on the glass that is so cool. I'm not sure you can see it on the card though. Stamp 3 of the berries inside the small glass in Blackberry Bliss. To me this looks like blackberry lemonade which I love! Stamp another berry on the larger of the two Textured Notes die cuts.

Stamp the sentiment on the smaller of the 2  Textured Notes die cuts using Blackberry Bliss ink
Stamp the umbrella top and the pick on the scrap of Basic White using Basic Gray ink.  Cut them out with the dies. To color the umbrella, use the Light Blackberry Bliss Blend and Strawberry Slush ink and a Blender Pen (as we can't get the Blends for this yet).

Now grab your card base. Using your trimmer, cut the front of the card in half, leaving just the bottom. Do this by cutting down the fold at 4 1/4" down to the 2 3/4" mark on your trimmer. Then turn the card 90 degrees and cut at 2 3/4" in 4 1/4" to the fold. The piece you cut out becomes the backing to the front piece.
Attach the piece of DSP to the inside. Wait to add the white piece until you finish the front.

Attach the smaller white die cut to the piece of Pretty in Pink that you cut out. Attach the pick to the top of the larger glass. Attach this to the front piece then attach the umbrella top. Attach the smaller glass using Dimensionals. Attach the front piece using Dimensionals JUST ON THE BOTTOM HALF OF THIS PIECE, centering it top to bottom and side to side.

To attach the inside white piece, put your adhesive on it, hold it behind the front piece so it doesn't show, then close the card and push it down. This should attach it as below, hiding behind the front piece. See the video if you don't understand.

Scatter 3 of the Holographic Resin Dots on the front and you are done. I used 2 of the small and 1 of the medium dots.
