Sneak Peek of the Online Exclusive

Floral Impressions Suite

The Floral Impressions Suite will debut 5/6/25 as an Online Exclusive and you will love the dies, stamp set, DSP and embellishments. As you can see in this card, the dies cut out beautiful flowers, leaves and the lovely oval above that has a separate frame that can be used with either the cut out oval, or the background as I did above. The DSP I used behind the Pool Party is the back side of one of the great pieces of DSP. And the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems also have these gorgeous clear dots with central gold.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Pool Party cardstock --Card base 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half on the score line. Second piece 4" by 5 1/4"
2. Floral Impressions  DSP--3 7/8"" by 5 1/8".
3.Basic White cardstock--3 3/4" by 5" for the inside
4. Garden Green cardstock--Cut the big leaf group and 3 of the smaller leaves. Piece 1" by about 3"
5. Lemon Lolly cardstock--Die cut the 2 smaller flowers and the larger flower center
6. Highland Heather cardstock--Die cut the largest flower and the tiny flowers of the other centers
7. Stamp sets--Impressions Abloom
8. Dies-- Impressions Abloom
9. Ink--Highland Heather
10. Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems
11. Embossing Supplies--Versamark Ink, Embossing Buddy, White Embossing Powder
12. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals

Take the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Pool Party and cut out the larger oval. Save the central oval for another card and save the frame though. Cut the largest flower with the central part that embosses and the group of tiny flowers out of Highland Heather. Cut the 2 smaller flowers and the larger center out of Lemon Lolly. Please watch my video below of my Facebook Live to see some tricks and tips to using these dies and stamp sets and how to keep them lined up. Attach the Lemon Lolly center to the Highland Heather flower. Attach 2 of the tiny flowers to the centers of the Lemon Lolly flowers.

Let's do some stamping. Using the more solid large flower stamp, ink it up in Highland Heather then stamp it off on a piece of scrap paper before stamping it in the corner of the piece of Basic White. Now take the more detailed large flower stamp and using Highland Heather ink (full strength), stamp it over the solid flower. Attach this to the inside of the folded card base.

Now emboss the sentiment on the 1" Garden Green strip. Notice I combined 2 of the stamps on one block to stamp. Use your Embossing Buddy first on the cardstock then stamp the sentiment in Versamark before sprinkling the White Embossing Powder on top and flicking the extra off prior to heating with your Heat Tool to melt the powder. Flag one end as below.

Let's put this card together now. Attach the DSP to the back of the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Pool Party. Then attach the little frame--be careful not to use too much glue on the back of this tiny piece. Attach this to the card base using Dimensionals.

Lay out your leaves and flowers as below. Attach the big leaf first, then the 2 Lemon Lolly flowers, then pop the big flower up on Dimensionals. Attach the 3 smaller leaves by sneaking them under the popped up Highland Heather flower. Attach the sentiment piece with Dimensionals. Scatter 2 large and 1 small of the clear Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems and you are done!
