Welcome the 2025-7 In Colors!

Welcome to the class of 2025-7 Stampin' Up! In Colors. On my card above they are from left to right: Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Strawberry Slush, Secret Sea and Cloud Cover. So far, Secret Sea and Strawberry Slush are my favorites, but that may change in the future. I wanted to make a card that showed off  ALL the new colors so here it is.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Thick Basic White cardstock --Card base 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" and folded in half on the score line. 
2.Basic White cardstock--3 7/8" by 5 1/8" , another piece die cut with the 3rd smallest Everyday Arches dies
3. 1" by 3 3/4" piece in each of the 2025-27 In Colors
4. Secret Sea cardstock--4" by 5 1/4"
5. Stamp sets-- Sweet Blooms
6. Dies--Everyday Arches
7. 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls
8. Ink--Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush
9. Embossing Folder-Pressed Flowers
10. Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon
11. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals

Start by adhering the 5 pieces of In Color cardstock to the Basic White cardstock, starting on one side making sure there is equal borders on all the edges. Abut each one to the next. Let this dry if you used Multipurpose Glue, and then run it through the Cut and Emboss Machine inside the Pressed Flowers Embossing folder. You can also use the embossing folder on the envelope flap as I did in the picture above. Attach this piece to the Secret Sea cardstock and then to the folded card front.


Stamp the sentiment from Sweet Blooms on the Everyday Arches die cut (turned sideways) in Secret Sea ink. Attach this to the card using Dimensionals. Tie a bow with the Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon and attach with a Mini Glue Dot. Use a large and a small  2025-27 In Color Flat Pearl on the bottom of the die cut--I used Strawberry Slush here and Timid Tiger in my Facebook Live. 


For the inside I stamped the 2 step flower stamp--the leaves and stems in Secret Sea and the flowers in Strawberry Slush. For some pointers on using these stamps and other pointers, watch my Facebook Live below.

  Floating Christmas Tree So if you make a lot of holiday cards like I do, it is time to start working on them! I know, I know, we haven't had Halloween yet, but if you want to send them out before the holiday it is time to get working. And this lovely card was inspired by someone else (sorry I just took a picture of it but there was no name on it so I can't thank you) who used her scraps to make the tree. I took it one step further and made a floating scraps tree. I've been wanting to make a card with this technique for a while and I knew this tree would look fabulous like this. And the second bonus is that I got to use up a ton of Lights Aglow scraps, even the small ones. All you need to do is cut your scraps into 1/2" pieces, attach them to a piece of window sheet and then cut out whatever shape you like.   Pick of the Patch Joy Fold Card This fun joy fold card just makes me smile. I'm loving the Pick of the Patch bundle lately for its versatility--it can make beautiful fall cards, great Thanksgiving cards, and today a Halloween card. And all from a relatively inexpensive punch bundle. Now are you wondering where the Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper in the background is from? Playing with Thoughtful Journey DSP Hopefully you have received your new 2024-25 Annual Catalog by now--if not please email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com and let me send you one if you don't have a demonstrator. I am making a card today using the gorgeous 6" by 6" Thoughtful Journey DSP as each page is more beautiful than the last. These pages are stand alone amazing--all they really need is a sentiment added to make a card, but I thought I'd fancy them up today with some other new products.
