Traditions of Christmas Sneak Peek
This card is a sneak peek at the new Traditions of Christmas suite in the Sept-Dec Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog, and one of my favorite suites in this catalog. The gorgeous imagery on the Designer Series Paper is to die for, and speaking of dies, the coordinating ones cut out the bouquets of flowers on 2 of the papers. The suite includes 2 bundles, one for sentiments and label dies, like you see above. The second bundle is bouquet and flower images with other beautiful stand alone and coordinating dies. The suite also includes the above embellishments that come in 3 different sizes and 3 different colors.
If you are not already working with a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and need this new catalog, or want to place an order, please email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com. Don't forget to come watch me make another card next Monday at 1 pm PST on Facebook at Stamp with Dr Robin, and you can watch me make this card (and learn about other items in this catalog) by clicking the link below.
Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:
1. Pretty in Pink cardstock --Card base 4 1/4" by 11" scored at 5 1/2" and 2 3/4"
2. Basic White cardstock--cut 2 of this die cut from the Traditional Labels dies
3. Traditions of Christmas Specialty DSP--front panel is 2 1/2" by 4", inside piece is 4" by 5 1/4", die cut out one of the bouquets from the DSP also
4. Stamp sets--Traditional Labels
5. Dies--Traditional Labels, Christmas Greenery
6. Ink--Real Red
7. Traditional Sparkling Gems
8. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool, Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals
Start by folding your card base in half, and then fold the 2 3/4" score line back towards the front. Attach the smaller piece of DSP to the front of the card and the larger one inside.
Stamp the front sentiment (notice I put two of the sentiments together on the same block) in Real Red--stamp toward the right side of the die cut.
Attach just the left side of the sentiment piece to the front with Dimensionals and then glue on the bouquet. Adhere 2 of the gold Traditional Sparkling Gems under the sentiment.
Attach the second label to the inside--I like to do this by putting my adhesive on the label, then holding it right under the front label and closing up the card. This way the label aligns with the front label and doesn't stick out. You can watch this below in my video if that doesn't make sense.
Below is my Facebook Live from 8/25/25 (uploaded to YouTube as Facebook now deletes them after 30 days) where I make this card, and show you some tips to help with the cardmaking.
