Amber Autumn Fun Fold

I just love autumn with the changing colors and the cooler (I hope!) crisp sweater weather. The Amber Autumn bundle has great graphics and sentiments and when paired with the beautiful Autumn Toile Designer Series Paper and a fun fold and you have a great card. This card could be a thank you card, a birthday card or just a thinking of you card.  This fold also works really well for any 6" by 6" DSP so try it with other paper.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Early Espresso cardstock--card base is 4 1/4" by 5 1/2", second piece same size with scoring on long side at 2 3/4"
2. Basic White cardstock--2 pieces 2 1/2" by 4" and a third piece/scrap at least 2 1/2" by 2 1/2"
3. Autumn Toile DSP--5 1/4" by 6" with scoring at 2" on the long side
4. Stamp Set--Amber Autumn
5. Dies--Amber Autumn
6. Ink--Early Espresso, Lemon Lolly
7. Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread
8. Cajun Craze & Gold Dots
9. Blends--Dark Crumb Cake, Ivory, L/D Old Olive, Dark Darling Duckling
10. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals

Take your Autumn Toile DSP and fold along the score line (use whichever side you want facing up). Attach the 4" side to the 4 1/4" by 5 1/2" piece of Early Espresso. Fold the scored piece of Early Espresso in half on the score line. Attach the back to the center of the opened DSP (as you can see below). The little card should place the scored/fold side to the right.

Now let's work on the front panel. Using a Blending Brush, lightly apply Lemon Lolly ink to one of the  2 1/2" by 4" pieces of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom using Early Espresso ink. Stamp the acorns/leaves in Early Espresso on the smaller piece of Basic White. I colored it with the above Blends--if you want to see how, please watch my Facebook Live below. Cut it out with the matching dies on your Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine and attach with Dimensionals to the above panel.

Wrap the  Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread around the bottom of the little card and secure in the back by tying it or taping it down. Attach this to the front of the folded card.

For the inside, use the other 2 1/2" by 4" piece of Basic White and stamp just some of the leaves in Early Espresso on the bottom. Attach to the inside of the little card. Sprinkle some of the Cajun Craze & Gold Dots on the front and you are done.
