Luminary using Gingerbread Man Bundle

We just had my Gingerbread Man class at my house and I guess I can't stop playing with them, as I made a luminary with them! Just stick a battery-powered tea light or candle in it and it will glow for hours. I plan to use mine on my holiday table as a centerpiece and it is so easy! And now that Stampin' Up has vellum again we can make lots of these.

Let's make this!
1. Vellum cut 11" by 8 1/2"
2. Basic White cardstock--cut one candy cane and one lollipop
3. Pecan Pie cardstock--Cut a set of 2 of the gingerbread men two times--you will only need 3 of them so cut one of the pairs in half
4. Traditions of Christmas DSP--cut 2 pieces 1/2" by 11" (for the top and bottom). Also cut 2 hats and 2 scarves
5. Real Red cardstock--cut 1 hat and 1 scarf, as well as a red candy cane and lollipop
6. Stamp Set--Gingerbread Man
7. Dies--Gingerbread Man
8. Ink--Versamark, White Embossing Powder
9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Tear 'N Tape

Start by embossing 3 gingerbread men (you can leave 2 of them attached, just emboss them separately) with White Embossing Powder. Remember to use your Embossing Buddy first, stamp in Versamark, sprinkle with White Embossing Powder then heat with your Heat Tool until the powder melts.

Lay the Vellum flat in a landscape orientation and attach the 1/2" pieces of Traditions of Christmas DSP to the top and bottom of the vellum. Attach the 3 gingerbread men, letting their hands overlap and leaving 1/2" at either end to be able to attach the ends later.

Decorate the 3 gingerbread men as I did below. Attach the 2 pieces of the candy cane and the lollipop together and attach those to the luminary also.

Put a line of Tear 'N Tape on the open ends and remove the white paper and overlap this edge with the other one.

Below is my Facebook Live from 10/20/25 (uploaded to YouTube as Facebook now deletes them after 30 days) where I make this luminary, and show you some tips to help with making it.
