A Child is Born

Supplies

  1. Crumb Cake cardstock—card base 5 ½” by 8 ½” scored 4 ¼” and folded on the score line. Second piece  die cut with the 3rd largest Everyday Arches dies.
  2. Season Of Elegance Specialty DSP—3” by 5 ½”
  3. Gold Foil—cut with the 3rd and 2nd largest Everyday Arches dies, using just the frame in between the two dies and saving the middle for something else.
  4. Basic White cardstock—inside piece 3 ½” by 5”, and a scrap ½” by about 3” for the sentiment
  5. Stamp sets—A Child is Born
  6. Dies—Everyday Arches
  7. Ink—Crumb Cake and Versamark for heat embossing
  8. Heat embossing tools and gold embossing powder
  9. White Watercolor Pencil (from the first set of Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils)

Fold the card base in half on the score line. Attach the Season of Elegance DSP to the left front leaving about ¼” of the base showing on the left.

Stamp the nativity scene in Crumb Cake on the Crumb Cake Everyday Arches die  cut. Color the baby’s blanket in the White Watercolor Pencil—you can color all the people’s clothes if you’d like.

Stamp the 2 star stamps in Versamark at the top after using your Embossing Buddy, sprinkle with gold embossing powder and heat emboss. Stamp the sentiment the same way on the ½” piece of Basic White using Versamark and gold embossing powder (or just in Crumb Cake). Slant cut the edges of the sentiment.

Attach the gold foil frame to the front of the card, then attach the Crumb Cake stamped piece inside the frame. Attach the sentiment to the front using Dimensionals.

Stamp the inside sentiment and the lamb in Crumb Cake on the Basic White piece and attach to the inside of the card.
