True Blue Florals Fun Fold


Do you recognize this Designer Series Paper? Did you know you can only get it while supplies last in the month of December 2025? This DSP is called True Blue Florals and is a full 12" by 12" pack of DSP featuring florals and other designs in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. Some designs are more masculine and others more flowery. I also used the upcoming (from the Jan Online Exclusives) Lovely Arrangements bundle for the stamps and the die cut for the sentiment as well as the embellishments. I also used the upcoming (from the 2026 Jan-April Mini Catalog) Beautifully Celebrated die for behind the fussy cut flowers and the Lovely Stripes 3D embossing folder. I had such fun combining all these for this card.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

  1. Thick Basic White cardstock—card base 4 ¼” by 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side and folded on the score line.
  2. Night of Navy cardstock-- 2 pieces 1 1/8" by 4 1/8". One piece 2 7/8" by 4 1/8"
  3. True Blue Florals DSP—2 pieces 1" by 4" (the side pieces), center piece is 2 3/4" by 4" and fussy cut a floral piece out
  4. Basic White cardstock—die cut the 4th largest of the nested Beautifully Celebrated dies 
  5. Stamp set--Lovely Arrangements
  6. Dies--Beautifully Celebrated, Lovely Arrangements
  7. Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder
  8. Ink—Night of Navy
  9. Moody Palette Glossy Dots
     Start by cutting the front of your card base at 1 1/4" to the fold (4 1/4") on either side. This creates a larger center flap and 2 smaller flaps on either side. Then glue down those 2 side flaps. Glue the two 1" by 4" pieces of the True Blue Florals DSP to the 1 1/8" by 4 1/8" pieces of Night of Navy and glue those to the side pieces.  It should look like this when that center flap is open.      Adhere the 2 3/4" by 4" piece of DSP to the 2 7/8" by 4 1/8" piece of Night of Navy and adhere that to the larger front flap. Now let's stamp using Night of Navy. Open the card and stamp the leaf stamp from Lovely Arrangements. Then stamp the sentiment in the oval die cut from the same die set. 

    Run the Basic White Beautifully Celebrated die cut through your Cut & Emboss Machine inside the new Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. Attach that to the front of the card, then attach your fussy cut flowers using Dimensionals. Attach the sentiment piece with Dimensionals also, then scatter 3 of the Moody Palette Glossy Dots (I used 1 large and 2 small white dots) on the front and you are done.

  3rd Charming Duck Pond Post This card is a modified gate-fold card as the left front is just 1 1/4". I love how you can use most of the page of the 6" by 6" piece of DSP scenery to make this card. Sometimes I use the back side for the little pieces, but this time I used a separate piece of DSP with just the rushes on it. Enjoy!

  Floating Christmas Tree So if you make a lot of holiday cards like I do, it is time to start working on them! I know, I know, we haven't had Halloween yet, but if you want to send them out before the holiday it is time to get working. And this lovely card was inspired by someone else (sorry I just took a picture of it but there was no name on it so I can't thank you) who used her scraps to make the tree. I took it one step further and made a floating scraps tree. I've been wanting to make a card with this technique for a while and I knew this tree would look fabulous like this. And the second bonus is that I got to use up a ton of Lights Aglow scraps, even the small ones. All you need to do is cut your scraps into 1/2" pieces, attach them to a piece of window sheet and then cut out whatever shape you like. Gingerbread Man & Woman Aren't these gingerbread man and woman just so cute? They are from the new 2025 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog that goes live to everyone at midnight 9/3/25. I am sure they are going to be a big seller, so get yours quickly before they sell out (just my prediction). The stamp set has lots of different expressions for our little gingerbread person, and the dies have many different objects for them to hold, but the cutest part of the bundle is that the die cuts 2 gingerbread men that you fold in half to make a card that can open.  This set is called Gingerbread Man, but I just had to see if I could make a gingerbread woman as he seemed to need a girlfriend. I don't know if you can tell, but her skirt is made from one of the Coneflower Celebrations dies cut from both Real Red and Garden Green cardstock.
