Vellum Made with Love
Now that it's almost January, it's time to get going on our next card-making holiday, Valentine's Day. And Stampin' Up has some great new products in our 2026 Jan-April Mini Catalog to help you along with that. I've used several products from the Made with Love suite as well as the Love Notes 6" by 6" Designer Series Paper. The Love Notes DSP gives you multiple copies of each page, which is perfect for making lots of valentines!
Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:
- Real Red cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side and folded in half along the score line
- Vellum--4 1/4" by 5 1/2"
- Made with Love DSP—3 1/4" square
- Love Notes 6" by 6" Designer Series Paper--cut one of the 3" squares down to a 2 3/4" square
- Basic White--3 1/2" (or 3 3/4") by 5 " (watch the video to see how to get 5 inside pieces from one page of cardstock)
- Stamp set--Endless Love
- Dies--Endless Love
- Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder
- Ink—Real Red
- Loose Valentine's Assortment Embellishments
- Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon
- Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool, Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
Run the Vellum through your Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Hearts of Love 3D Embossing Folder. Wait to attach it to the front until you've put the sentiment piece on (see why on my video below).
Attach the Love Notes square to the Made with Love square then attach that to the Vellum with Dimensionals. Now attach the Vellum to the card front, just putting adhesive under the squares and a tiny bit of glue under the corners--I used an old sponge to just apply a tiny bit to the corners so it doesn't show.
Wrap the Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon twice around the left side of the card front and tie a bow. Slant cut the ends of the ribbon. Now attach 3 of the Loose Valentine's Assortment Embellishments hearts to the front using Mini Glue Dots.
For the inside, using Real Red ink, stamp the multi-hearts stamp from Endless Love on the Basic White piece of cardstock and attach to the inside of the card.
You are done--here's another picture of the front of the card.
