Lovely & Beautiful Wedding Card

The Lovely & Beautiful suite is probably my favorite in the 2026 Jan-April Mini Catalog. The Designer Series Paper is to die for, and I just can't stop making cards with this suite. Today I decided to make a wedding card in gold and white, as I love that combo for wedding cards (and my son happened to need one for a wedding he is in this upcoming weekend). It is such a classy pairing, but you could also use this card for a birthday or anniversary card.

I also love the die that cuts out the 2 corner pieces and hadn't had a chance to use it yet. I think the overall effect is just stunning. If you want to watch me make this card, watch my Facebook Live below and don't forget to come back every Monday at 1 pm PST and watch me live on Facebook. Or subscribe to my YouTube station (still Stamp with Dr Robin) and they will let you know when I post.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

  1. Thick Basic White cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" on the long side and folded in half along the score line.
  2. Basic White cardstock--Scrap for the sentiment, die cut with the smallest Beautifully Celebrated nesting dies
  3. Lovely & Beautiful DSP--3 3/4" by 5"
  4. Gold Foil--4" by 5 1/4", cut the backing for the sentiment (die cut with the second to smallest Beautifully Celebrated nesting dies) and the corner dies from the center of this piece
  5. Stamp set--Simply Beautiful, Delicate Whispers
  6. Dies--Beautifully Celebrated
  7. Ink—Versamark/Gold Embossing Powder, Soft Seafoam
  8. White with Gold Ribbon
  9. Embellishments--Pearlized Faceted Circles
  10. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals, embossing supplies (embossing buddy, Versamark and heat gun), Tear 'N Tape

Make sure you die cut the sentiment backing and the 2 corner pieces from the gold foil before attaching it to the front of the card base. Then attach the DSP and the gold corner pieces.

Emboss the sentiment from  Simply Beautiful onto the small Basic White die cut. Remember to use your embossing buddy prior to stamping in Versamark, adding your gold embossing powder then using your heat gun. Attach this to the gold die cut.

Zig-zag the ribbon and hold it down with Tear 'N Tape or double sided tape. Attach the sentiment using Dimensionals.

For the inside, use the sentiment from Delicate Whispers (a new bundle coming 3/3) on the inside embossed in Gold Embossing Powder. Use the leaves from Simply Beautiful stamped twice in Soft Seafoam ink.
