Garden Poetry

This card is a mish-mash of several new products from the March 2026 Online Exclusives. The gorgeous Designer Series Paper is called Garden Poetry and the matching Shaded Spruce circles are cut from the Garden Textures Specialty Foil Sheets with my favorite Lovely Arrangements die. The foil also comes in Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel, which are also in the Garden Poetry DSP. I used the new Scalloped Wishes dies to cut the sentiment piece--isn't it beautiful also? I used it last week also so I guess you could say it's a favorite too.

These two die sets are out of stock right now, but will be back the week of 3/23, so not too long to wait. If you want them, go into your account and try to order them--you will see a box telling you they are out of stock but you can now sign up to get notified as soon as they come back in stock. Kind of a neat perk now.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

  1. Thick Basic White cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 7 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side and folded along the score line
  2. Garden Poetry DSP--3" by 3 1/2", cut on the short side into 3 one inch strips
  3. Garden Textures Specialty Foil--Die cut with the Lovely Arrangements circles, just using 1/2 of it
  4. Basic White cardstock--4" by 5 1/4" run through inside ethe So Swirly Embossing Folder. Second piece cut with the larger Scalloped Wishes die.
  5. Stamp set--Scalloped Wishes
  6. Dies--Scalloped Wishes and Lovely Arrangements
  7. Ink—Shaded Spruce
  8. Shades of Green Hexagons
  9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals
Fold your card base in half on the score line. Attach the Basic White cardstock 4" by 5 1/4" piece run through inside the So Swirly Embossing Folder to the front of the card. Attach the three 1" pieces of Garden Poetry DSP towards the left side of the card, making sure they are about 1/4" apart starting about 1/2" from the left side of the embossed piece.

Cut the Garden Textures Foil circles in half along the long way. You will have to hand trim down a bit to make them look good (watch my video below). Then attach to the card front, with just a bit hanging over the left side of the DSP.

Using Shaded Spruce ink, stamp the Scalloped Wishes sentiment on the oval from the inside of the die cut. I find it easiest to stamp this when it is sitting inside the other part of this die cut--it helps to keep it straight. Attach the stamped oval using Dimensionals and THEN attach the part around it. Add 2 of the darkest Shades of Green Hexagons to the top and bottom of the sentiment.

Stamp a few of the cute dragonflies on the inside and you are done. I love this sentiment as I can see it being used for many types of cards--birthday, weddings, congratulations--and you can stamp whatever sentiment you want on the inside. I am using these cards as swap cards when we go to our Stampin' Up! convention this week.
