Scalloped Wishes Meet Painted Illusions

Scalloped Wishes is a new Online Exclusives bundle that goes live tonight (3/2/26) at midnight MT for everyone, with a ton of other great products. The thing that caught my eye in this bundle was the cute scalloped dies and the stamps that fit in side them and I'm having a great time exploring all the options in this bundle. I paired this set with the February Product of the Month, Painted Illusions Designer Series Paper. This DSP is still available for only $5 after you place a $75 (pre tax and shipping and after using any coupons/discounts) order. All the Products of the Month are while supplies last, so if you like this, buy it asap!

Let's make these cards! I will call the card on the left card #1 and the one on the right card #2. Gather your supplies:

  1. Card bases 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" --card #1 is Pretty Peacock, Card #2 is Petal Pink
  2. Basic White cardstock--3 3/4" by 5" (X2) for the insides. A scrap for stamping the cat tails. For card #2, 3 3/4" by 5" piece
  3. Painted Illusions DSP --Card #1 is 4" by 5 1/4", card #2 is 3 5/8" by 4 7/8"
  4. Granny Apple Green--For card #1 cut 2 of the larger leaves
  5. Petal Pink cardstock--For card #2 cut the larger intricate scalloped die and use the inside, cut 2 of the smaller leaves
  6. Stamp set--Scalloped Wishes
  7. Dies--Scalloped Wishes
  8. Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder
  9. Ink—Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink
  10. Embellishments--Shades of Green Hexagons and Pearlized Faceted Circles
  11. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular and Mini Dimensionals

Above is the first card we will make. Adhere the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of DSP to the Pretty Peacock card base, just around the edges of the card. With the card open, use the larger scalloped die (not the intricate one) to cut through both layers. Save the DSP for the next card. Now take the inside Basic White piece and lay it in place, but DON'T GLUE IT DOWN YET. Close the card and through the opening, stamp the large scalloped stamp in Petal Pink and then the sentiment in the center using Pretty Peacock. Adhere to the inside. For tips, please watch my video at the end of the post.

For the outside, attach the 2 Granny Apple Green to the left side of the opening. Using Pretty Peacock ink, stamp the cat tails on the scrap of Basic White and cut it out with the dies. Attach the cat tails with Mini and Regular Dimensionals. Add 1 large and 2 small Granny Apple Green Shades of Green Hexagons and this card is done.

For card #2, run the 3 5/8" by 4 7/8" piece of DSP through the Cut & Emboss machine inside the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this to the 3 3/4" by 5" piece of Basic White and then attach to the Petal Pink card base.

Take the piece of DSP you cut out from the first card and stamp the large scalloped stamp in Pretty Peacock. Then stamp the sentiment on the Petal Pink oval and attach it to the scalloped oval. Attach this to the card front using Dimensionals. Attach the 2 Petal Pink smaller leaves under the scallop. Scatter some of the Pearlized Faceted Circles (I used 2 large and 3 smaller ones) as below.

Here are 2 more cards I made using this same set of supplies.
