A Stitched Season Sneak Peek

A Stitched Season is an upcoming suite debuting 7/1/26 in the Stampin' Up Online Exclusives. It is a beautiful suite for card makers and scrapbookers with it's fun quilting theme. There are dies, stamps and paper that can be mixed and matched to make quilt-like cards, or just used to make all sorts of Christmas themed cards. Of course you could also use the quilt pieces and the back sides of the DSP to make non-holiday themed cards. Watch my video below to see some other cards I made with this suite.

If you want to learn more about this set of products and see how the pieces all work together (or you get confused with this post), please watch my video below. Then come watch my Facebook Live every Monday at 1 pm PST to make another card with me.

Let's make this card. Gather your supplies:

  1. Peaceful Pine cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side. Cut one of the 3rd smallest Stylish Shapes square and the tree square from the Stitched Stocking dies. Also cut the small square that cuts out the 4 triangles.
  2. Basic White cardstock--using the Stylish Shapes dies, cut 2 from the second to smallest square and 2 from the 3rd smallest square. A piece 1/2" by 4 1/4" for the sentiment and one 3 1/2" by 5" for the inside.
  3. A Stitched Season DSP--4" by 5 1/2"
  4. Cherry Cobbler cardstock- Cut one 3rd smallest Stylish Shapes square and the present square from the Stitched Stocking dies. Also cut the small square that cuts out the 4 triangles.
  5. Stamp set--Stitched Stocking
  6. Dies--Stitched Stocking and Stylish Shapes
  7. Ink— Peaceful Pine and Cherry Cobbler
  8. Adhesive-Backed Mini Christmas Buttons
  9. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular Dimensionals. Tweezers help
On the 2 Basic White smaller Stylish Shapes squares stamp the "x" pattern in Peaceful Pine and the flowers in Cherry Cobbler. Attach 2 of the matching triangles (Pine on Pine and Cherry on Cherry) as below then attach them to their corresponding larger square. Attach the present and tree squares to the Basic White larger squares.

Stamp "cheers" 4 times on the 1/2" piece of Basic White in Cherry Cobbler ink. Stamp twice starting from the left side and twice starting from the right edge and that should leave enough in the middle to place a button.

Die cut the row of trees from the Stitched Stocking dies on the top and bottom of the A Stitched Season DSP and then attach it to the front of your folded card. Attach the 4 squares as below, leaving a gap in the center of the two rows for the sentiment piece. Attach the sentiment piece with Dimensionals and then add a white Adhesive-Backed Mini Christmas Button in the center.

For the inside, use the 3 1/2" by 5" piece of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. Attach 7 of the trees you die cut from the DSP along the bottom, starting with the one in the middle. Attach this to the inside of the card and you are done!
