Christmas in July Craft Retreat



 Peggy Noe (Pretty Paper Cards) and I are excited to offer you a  a fun-filled Christmas in July Craft Retreat where you'll create beautiful handmade holiday cards and a festive 3D project perfect for gifting and decorating! We will be making holiday cards and a unique 3D Christmas project that you can create in the comfort of your home OR attend locally at my home in Poway. 



This retreat is packed full of brand new products including Designer Series Paper AND a fabulous stamp set!

  • Stitched Stocking Stamp Set (you can substitute a different stamp set if you already own this one)
  • 1/2 package of A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper

  • Medium sized envelopes, one for each card
  • For at home people: step by step PDF tutorials, one for each project design and Tips & Tricks Video Tutorials that review each project design and give you tips and tricks for creating each one.

  3rd Charming Duck Pond Post This card is a modified gate-fold card as the left front is just 1 1/4". I love how you can use most of the page of the 6" by 6" piece of DSP scenery to make this card. Sometimes I use the back side for the little pieces, but this time I used a separate piece of DSP with just the rushes on it. Enjoy!

  Floating Christmas Tree So if you make a lot of holiday cards like I do, it is time to start working on them! I know, I know, we haven't had Halloween yet, but if you want to send them out before the holiday it is time to get working. And this lovely card was inspired by someone else (sorry I just took a picture of it but there was no name on it so I can't thank you) who used her scraps to make the tree. I took it one step further and made a floating scraps tree. I've been wanting to make a card with this technique for a while and I knew this tree would look fabulous like this. And the second bonus is that I got to use up a ton of Lights Aglow scraps, even the small ones. All you need to do is cut your scraps into 1/2" pieces, attach them to a piece of window sheet and then cut out whatever shape you like. Gingerbread Man & Woman Aren't these gingerbread man and woman just so cute? They are from the new 2025 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog that goes live to everyone at midnight 9/3/25. I am sure they are going to be a big seller, so get yours quickly before they sell out (just my prediction). The stamp set has lots of different expressions for our little gingerbread person, and the dies have many different objects for them to hold, but the cutest part of the bundle is that the die cuts 2 gingerbread men that you fold in half to make a card that can open.  This set is called Gingerbread Man, but I just had to see if I could make a gingerbread woman as he seemed to need a girlfriend. I don't know if you can tell, but her skirt is made from one of the Coneflower Celebrations dies cut from both Real Red and Garden Green cardstock.
