Glow of Harvest

The August Product of the Month is a gorgeous, pearlized Specialty Designer Series Paper called Glow of Harvest. You can buy this full 12" by 12" package of DSP for only $5 after you spend $75 in my online store. I used it today with elements from the Painted Patch suite to make a beautiful, soft fall card. And it is such an easy card, that on my Facebook Live linked below, I made another card using that same DSP.

Let's make this card. Gather your supplies:

  1. Cajun Craze cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by8 1/2” scored at 4 1/4" on the long side and folded in half.
  2. Basic Beige cardstock--two pieces 4" by 5 1/4"
  3. Painted Patch DSP--2 1/2" by 4"
  4. Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP--fussy cut one of the flower groups
  5. Basic White cardstock-- a strip of 3/4" for the sentiment
  6. Bundle--Painted Pumpkin stamp set and masks
  7. Ink— Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake
  8. Neutrals Jute Combo Pack
  9.  Radiant Gems
  10. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Stamp, Cut and Emboss Machine, Take Your Pick Tool,  Piercing Mat or Glass Mat Studio, Regular and Mini Dimensionals, Small Blending Brush, Tear 'N Tape

Start by using the last (vines and leaves) Painted Pumpkin mask, a piece of Basic Beige cardstock, and Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake ink on the small Blending Brush to ink it up. I did them on the diagonal, so you can see both above and below the center piece of DSP. Attach this to your folded card base.

Attach the piece of Painted Patch DSP in the center of the card.
Wrap the Crumb Cake from the Neutrals Jute Combo Pack around your hand twice. Secure it to the front of the card using Tear 'N Tape. Attach the fussy cut swag of flowers from the Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP using Dimensionals.

For the inside, stamp the leaves/vines with Cajun Craze on the second piece of Basic Beige, and attach to the inside of the card. Scatter 3 of the Radiant Gems on the front and you are done.
