Spotlight on Nature

I have had the Spotlight on Nature bundle for a few months now, but only recently started playing with it and now I can't put it down. The main stamps are just so delicate and precious, and I love, love, love the nesting circle dies with their different edges. I will share tomorrow some other cards I've made using this bundle. Today I focused on using the new 2024-26 In Colors and it is Peach Pie day, which seems appropriate since peaches are in season.

Let's make this card! Gather your supplies:

1. Peach Pie cardstock --Card base 5 1/2"" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4". A second piece for cutting the largest Spotlight on Nature die
2. Basic White cardstock--a piece 4" by 5 1/4", a second piece cut with the second to largest Spotlight on Nature die. A third scrap piece 3/4" by about 3" for the sentiment and a 3 3/4" by 5" piece for the inside of your card.
3. Stamp Sets--Spotlight on Nature and Comforting Thoughts
4. Dies--Spotlight on Nature
5. 2024-26 In Color Bordered Ribbon
6. Ink--Basic Gray and Peach Pie
7. Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder
8. Brushed Brass Butterflies
9. Stampin' Blends--Dark and Light Shy Shamrock, Dark and Light Peach Pie , Color Lifter
10. Basic supplies--Bone folder, Paper Snips, adhesive (I like Multipurpose Glue and Seal+), Paper Trimmer, Take Your Pick Tool,  Regular Dimensionals, Cut and Emboss Machine

Start by folding your card base in half along the scoring. Run the 4" by 5 1/4" piece of Basic White through your Cut and Emboss Machine inside the Dashing Designs 3D Embossing Folder.

Now for some stamping--stamp the flowers in Basic Gray on the Basic White Spotlight on Nature die cut. Color it in using the Stampin' Blends--watch my Facebook Live below for some tips on coloring with the Blends. Attach this piece to the Peach Pie circle and then cut through both along the right side to make a straight edge. Attach to the above embossed piece, placing the straight edge along the right edge of the embossed piece.

Tie a piece of the Peach Pie ribbon along the left side of this page then attach to the card front--Multipurpose Glue works best for this. Stamp the sentiment from Comforting Thoughts on the 3/4" piece of Basic White, slant cut the edges, and attach to the card front using Dimensionals. Use one large and one small Brushed Brass Butterflies wherever you'd like.

For the inside, use the 3 3/4" by 5" piece of Basic White. Stamp the inside words (from Comforting Thoughts) and the leaf stamp (from Spotlight on Nature) in Basic Gray. Stamp the hatch marks twice in stamped off/second generation Peach Pie ink. Attach to the inside of your card.

Someone on my Facebook Live asked to see the card in Very Vanilla, so here it is on the left.

And here is the original card in Petunia Pop.
