Fragrant Forest meets Falling Snow I loved using the Fragrant Forest stamp set when it debuted last year--it looks so elegant stamped or even embossed--and I wanted to use it somehow differently this year to make it special. I was looking for a way to make snow on the trees. First I thought of using Embossing Paste, but that always gets messy, then I remembered I had bought the Falling Snow stamp set and realized that might look good, giving it a snowy look everywhere. And voila! That's how this card came about. I first stamped the trees in Shaded Spruce then embossed in white over them. It came out so cool--I love the way it looks like a snowy scene! The Peaceful Seasons bundle has the perfect dies and sentiments to use on this card--you can even thread some ribbon through the dies if you wanted to (I didn't this time). And the Iridescent Faceted Gems add some sparkle to the snow. Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Thick Basic White cardstock --Card base 5 1...

Changing Leaves with Baby Wipe Technique It finally feels like autumn here in San Diego, and to me that means changing leaf colors. Last week the temperature was 106 degrees and today it is in the low 70's. The multi-color leaves above were brought to you by the Baby Wipe techniques, which is my favorite way to stamp fall leaves. The Changing Leaves bundle has the perfect leaves to use this technique as it works best with an open, lined image, as opposed to a solid colored in image. I've seen, and made, many beautiful cards using the dies and embossing folder from the Changing Leaves set, but today thought I would just use the stamp set. To best understand how to do the Baby Wipe technique, please watch my Facebook Live below and then come back every Monday at 1 pm PST and watch me make another card. Let's make these cards! Gather your supplies: 1. Cherry Cobbler cardstock --Card base 5 1/2"" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4" 2. Basic White car...

Humble Home Christmas Card This card is filled with all sorts of wonderful new products from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. I am loving the Humble Home bundle for many reasons--first, I love punch bundles in general as they are so easy to use and beginner friendly. Secondly, this bundle is so versatile--it is great for "welcome to the neighborhood" card, great for realtor cards, great for thank you cards and as I've used it here, for a holiday card. I know everyone loves the new peppermint embellishments, as they sold out in just hours after they went live for customers. Not to worry, they will be back in a week or two. If you get lost making this card, be sure to watch my Facebook Live below for tips, and join us every Monday at 1 pm PST for more cardmaking fun. Let's make this card! Gather your supplies: 1. Real Red cardstock --Card base 4 1/4" by 11" scored on the long side at 5 1/2", scrap to cut backing of the house using Greetings of the Season...
