Whimsy & Wonder Fun Fold I just love the Whimsy &  Wonder specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)! It is so beautiful on its own, that I don't want to cover it up, so this is a fairly simple card that lets the DSP shine. And you get to see both sides of the paper which makes this a great card layout to use for any DSP where you can't decide between 2 gorgeous prints on both sides.  Before I start on the card, I want to remind everyone that if there is something you really want from the July-Dec Mini Catalog that you need to buy it soon. Starting 12/1 everything is while supplies last but a few products are on reduced price starting at that date. Email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com if you want a list of what is carrying over to next year and what is on sale starting 12/1. Let's get going on making our card. First gather your supplies: 1. Polished Pink cardstock. 5 1/4 by 5 1/2" scored at 1" along the 5 1/4" side, a scrap for under the sentiment 2. Bas...

Gingerbread Slimline Card I've just been having such fun playing with the Gingerbread & Peppermint suite that I wanted to share another card with you using it. The special thing about this card is that it is a slimline card! I'm not sure if you've ever made one of those, but they are a lot of fun, and the gingerbread cookies in this set really lend themselves to this type of card. Doesn't this card make you crave gingerbread cookies? I can smell them now. I've seen slimline cards made all different sizes, but this one is 3 by 6" and really is this size because it fit into the cute little envelope I got off  Amazon. But some big news--I've seen the 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog and we have our own slimline envelopes and dies in the new catalog! YAY! Those envelopes are 3 7/8 by 8 7/8" so we can make even larger cards.  Let's get going on making our card. First gather your supplies: 1. Real Red cardstock 6 by 6" and scored at 3" 2. Basic W...

Sparkly Peaceful Deer Every year I have a holiday card buffet for people to come over and make as many holiday cards as they'd like from an assortment of 12-17 cards. And every year I like to do at least one card in an unexpected color and this year I really wanted to do a black card, so here it is. I know you can't see it, but the deer and the ribbon are quite sparkly. If you watch my Facebook Live below you can see it better. I think this card is just the one if you want to send an elegant card to someone. This month is a great time to join my Robin's Rowdies team and then get 20% off all your Stampin' Up needs. The usual joining deal is $125 worth of product for $99 with free shipping. For the month of November you only pay $75 for $125 worth of products. And once you start, you don't have to do anything else with it, just enjoy your deal. Let me know if you are interested or just click the red robin to the left. Let's get going on making our card. First gath...

Fun Fold Frosted Gingerbread Card I've learned a new fun fold this week and thought I'd share it with you today. I learned this fold from Lyssa at Song of My Heart Studios--she used the Peaceful Cabin set to make her card and  I've made it using a couple other paper packs and it comes out great every time. This is what I love about Stampin' Up--everything coordinates so well and I can always make a great card with our products. Here's a picture of our card opened up and it folds up to fit in a regular envelope. Let's get going on making our card. First gather your supplies: 1. Real Red cardstock cut 5 1/2" by 11" scored at 4", 5 3/4", 7 1/2" and 9 1/4" 2. From what's leftover from the Real Red cardstock above, cut a 6 by 3" strip and score at 3" and use a scrap piece for the die cut for the last page 3. Basic White-- 2 pieces 2 3/4" squares and 1 piece 2 3/4 by 3 1/2" 4. Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP-- 1 p...

Eden's Garden Fun Fold Today I want to share with you a brand new suite that comes out November 2, 2021 called Eden's Garden. The stamp set and dies will be available in the upcoming Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalog but the gorgeous papers and gems are only available now while supplies last. As of today, I only own the paper so I thought I'd share it with you as well as a fun fold that shows off 3 of the new papers in this set. This is a great fun fold for showing off any of our sets of matching paper. The papers in this DSP all have one side with shiny gold accents and a green, more neutral pattern on the other side--they would be great for holiday cards also. Here's a peak at the other parts of the suite.  Let's get going on making our card. First gather your supplies: 1. Soft Succulent cardstock cut 5 1/2" by 11" scored at 1 3/4, 5 1/2 and 9 3/4" 2. Basic White cardstock cut 4 by 5 1/4" for the inside and a scrap for the sentiment piece. 3. Soft Suc...
