Sunny Splash I can't wait for summer and this stamp set really gets me in the mood for summer heat and swimming. I love the retro style bathing suits and thought they would pair well with the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper that you can only buy with your Stampin' Rewards once your order or party is over $150. But with 48 pieces of 12 by 12" DSP for only $18 it really is a steal! I couldn't stop making cards with it and here are 2 of them I made on my Facebook Live, which I've attached below. Here's a closer view of them individually: Let's get to making these cards. First, gather your supplies. Card 1 (the 3 bathing suit one) 1. Blackberry Bliss cardstock 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" scored on the long side at 4 1/4", and a piece 3/4 by 3" for the sentiment.  2. Basic White cardstock 3 3/4 by 5" for the inside 3. Shimmer White cardstock die cut with the Second largest Scalloped Contours die 4. Design a Daydream DSP (#159161) cut 4 by...

Wisteria Wishes Part 2 Yesterday I promised you a card that I'd used the baby-wipe technique on that actually used the Wisteria Wishes stamp set as intended, for wisteria plants and here it is. If you check out my blog post from 5/16/22 you will see that I basically made this the same way. The leaves are from Wisteria Wishes this time (notice some of them are second or third generation stamping), but the background is done in the same way. I used one of the sentiment stamps in Gorgeous Grape from the Wisteria Wishes stamp set. In my next card, I mostly used the dies. The vine is Soft Suede. The leaves are the new In Color Parakeet Party. The underneath flower dies are cut from the Orchid Oasis Glimmer paper and the top piece is Fresh Freesia. Love this set!

Wisteria Wishes Baby Wipe Technique Today I wanted to make a card using the new Wisteria Wishes stamp set from the 2022-23 Annual Stampin' Up catalog. The first thing I though of was: how am I going to stamp those beautiful wisteria so that they have the variations in color that a true flower does? And then I remembered a technique I hadn't used in a while, the baby-wipe technique! And that's how this card came about. Now if you look at these flowers, I didn't really make wisteria today, more like lupines but you can obviously use this for making wisteria also, and I did some cards like that also. Check back tomorrow for some pictures of more cards using this set.  For more info on making this card and to watch me actually using the baby-wipe technique, take a look at my Facebook Live below. You can watch me live every Monday at 1 pm PST or watch a replay here or on my YouTube channel, both of which are Stamp with Dr Robin. Let's get to making this card. First, gath...

Hues of Happiness Hues of Happiness (on pages108-109) is my favorite suite from the new 2022-23 Annual Stampin' Up Catalog. I love the Designer Series Paper, the stamp set and the Glossy Dots. The DSP is vibrant, colorful and just plain gorgeous; the stamp set has beautiful images, sentiments and fonts and the dies not only cut out the flowers but also has the cool background die featured on this card. Did you notice that the die doesn't cut out all the leaves? Some are left attached and you can fluff them up so it is more 3D. I plan on using this card as a wedding card next month, but you could also use it as a birthday card or just to make someone smile.  For more tips and tricks on using this set, as well as a couple of other cards I made with this set, please watch my Facebook Live below. It also contains information about my Paper Share--only $38 gets you a 1/4 pack of 10 new DSPs and 5 FREE Tea Boutique cards and envelopes. Email me at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com if you...
