Hot Foil System Card This is a game changer! Stampin' Up! has just come out with their own Hot Foil System and I am loving it. I had never played with hot foil in the past and it is so cool! Remember what it was like the first time you heat embossed something and the light that went on in your head and eyes? That is what it feels like when you first foil something. It really is different than heat embossing--the paper feels smooth afterwards, as if the foil was there all along. The system works with our Stamp, Cut & Emboss machine (but not with an old Big Shot) which is sold separately. Don't miss this opportunity to really enhance your card-making ability--it is a game changer and is very easy to use. It just went on sale to customers, and they have a limited inventory of both the machine and dies, so get it soon if you are interested.  For this card I used the Velvet Meadow Designer series paper, just a 3" by 5 1/2" piece with 2 1/2" pieces of Berry Burst g...

Birthday   Pretty Poinsettia Sneak Peek The Pretty Poinsettia bundle comes out 7/1/26 as a new Online Exclusive. It has sentiments and dies for use on Christmas cards (who doesn't like Christmas in July?) but I wanted to show that it can be used for other cards also. I created it using my most favorite fun fold with the 2026-28 In Colors Hydrangea Hue, Peaceful Pine and Golden Glow with a touch of gold foil in the center of the flower to match the gold foil in the Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper.  See the DSP on the bottom of the card? That is another sneak peek from the July Online Exclusives--Gingham Gallery DSP comes in a package with ALL the new In Colors. It has these little gingham squares on one side and larger squares on the back side of each paper. They will go with so many of your other papers.  Click on the little Robin Bird above to go to my Online Store and buy it (after July 1st of course). The Pretty Poinsettia dies are made to be used with the new Imp...

Stitched Stocking Fun Fold Card Stitched Stocking is an upcoming bundle debuting 7/1/26 in the Stampin' Up Online Exclusives. It is part of a beautiful suite with a fun quilting theme. In the suite, there are dies, stamps and paper that can be mixed and matched to make quilt-like cards, or just used to make all sorts of Christmas themed cards. Here I focused on the bundle more than the other components of the suite, but if you go back a couple of posts, I made another card with the suite of products. Notice the stocking itself is die cut from the Shimmering Stripes Designer Series Paper, that is part of the Violet Dreams Suite that comes out in the same group of  Online Exclusives. If you get lost reading this, or are more of a visual learner, please watch my video below. Then come watch my Facebook Live every Monday at 1 pm PST to make another card with me.  Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Secret Sea cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 7 1/4"”, scored at 4 ¼” o...

Words & Wishes Banner Card I know I was late to the party for buying the Party Banner Dies, but I really love how you can turn a banner into a card. I decided today I wanted to make a monochromatic card using Golden Glow, as I hadn't used that new In Color much yet. The Words & Wishes bundle has been sitting on my desk for a while waiting to be used. Those two sets are really a match made in heaven--this card shows of the best of both, plus the gorgeous Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper that has gold foiling on one side of the different papers that include all 5 of the new In Colors.  I've attached my Facebook Live below, which really helps if you are a visual learner. Come back and watch me every Monday at 1 pm PST for a new card.  Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Golden Glow cardstock—card base 4 1/4" by 11" scored at 5 1/2" then fold in half and cut with the 5th largest Party Banner die. Cut out the "Best Wishes" with the Wo...

Lily of the Valley Z Fold Card Ok, I have to admit, when I first saw the Valley in Bloom suite in the 2026 May-August Catalog, my first thought was, "Not another flower set". But then I looked closer at the gorgeous DSP (yes, I'm a sucker for a great DSP) and the colors and the adorable flowers you can make with the dies and I was hooked. Do you also notice the Scalloped Borders die cut behind the flowers? This is a coordinating specialty DSP called Luxe White that has white on white embossing which is perfect for adding whatever color you want. This card will be one of the ones I will be using in my June 2026 class, so shoot me an email if you are interested at stampwithdrrobin@gmail.com If you have any trouble with the directions, or you are just a visual person, watch my Facebook Live (that I've uploaded to YouTube) below.  Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Thick Basic White cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 ½”, scored at 1 1/4" and 4 ¼” on th...

Berry Botanical Vellum Joy Fold Card Today I made a Joy Fold card using the May Product of the Month, Berry Botanical Vellum, which is a full package of 12" by 12" thick, colored vellum--3 each of 4 different prints and I've used ALL of them on this card. If you don't know about Stampin' Up's Product of the Month, if you spend $75 or more on an individual order (before taxes and shipping/handling) this month, you will be able to buy this vellum package for only $5!!! An amazing deal that you only buy one each month, but you can buy the prior month's Product of the Month, for as long as they last. If you are more of a visual learner, please watch my Facebook Live below to guide you on making this card, and then come back every Monday at 1 pm PST on Facebook and watch me make another card.  Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Fresh Freesia cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side and folded along the score line.  B...

New 2026-28 In Colors Meet Scalloped Blooms It's finally here! Starting at midnight MT on 5/5/26 everyone can start ordering from the May-August 2026 catalog! You will love so much in this catalog, but especially the 2026-28 new In Colors. They are: Barely Blush (a very pale pink)        Crisp Cantaloupe (a crisp pale orange)        Golden Glow (a lovely gold that will go with everything)        Peaceful Pine (a timeless green)        Hydrangea Hue (a purplish blue, that for now is my favorite of the 5) I have made a card today that features Hydrangea Hue and the new Scalloped Blooms bundle. I think this bundle, especially the nested scalloped dies, will be a favorite with many people. Here's the same card as above made in all the new In Colors--do you have a favorite yet? Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Hydrangea Hue cardstock—card base 5 1/2" by 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” on the long side and folded ...

Fern & Flora Eclipse Card If you haven't seen the new 2026 May-August catalog yet, you are in for a big, lovely surprise on pages 34-35 where you will find the Moonlit Flora Suite that includes the beautiful Fern & Flora bundle, the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder you see in Old Olive on my card, and the extraordinary Moonlit Flora Designer Series Paper. If you know me at all, you know I am a sucker for a good DSP and this one is dark and moody and so perfect with pops of the new Golden Glow and Berry Burst.  Hopefully you can see on the card, that the DSP is cut in strips and every other one is popped up. This technique is called and eclipse card, or also a double vision card, but I like eclipse better for a name. If you want to see some tips on how to make this card, please watch my video below and come back for my Facebook Live (on Stamp with Dr Robin of course) every Monday at 1 pm.  Let's make this card. Gather your supplies: Old Olive cardstock—card base 5 1...
